Richard Gusella Executive Chairman

Mr. Gusella has been Executive Chairman of Petrolifera since November 2004. He was also the President of Petrolifera from November 2004 to March 2005. Mr. Gusella has been involved in the oil and natural gas industry for the past 40 years and has held various executive management positions. He has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Connacher Oil and Gas Limited since May 2001.

Gary Wine President and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Wine has been President of Petrolifera since March 2005 and Chief Operating Officer since January 2007. Mr. Wine has extensive experience with oil and gas geology in South America. Prior to Petrolifera, he was President of Arbutus Energy Corp., Exploration Manager for Norcen Energy Limited in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Staff Geologist for Norcen International in Calgary, International Geological Consultant and Group Leader for the Basin Analysis Group for Perupetro in Lima, Peru.

Mr. Wine holds a Bachelor of Science (Hon) degree in geology from the University of British Columbia.

Kristen Bibby, CA Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Bibby has been the Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Petrolifera since May 2007. Before joining Petrolifera, Mr. Bibby was the Controller of Bow Valley Energy Limited, a public Canadian oil company engaged in international activity, from September 2004 to May 2007. Prior thereto, he was the Controller of Rio Alto Resources International Inc., a public Canadian oil and gas exploration and production company active in South America.

Robert Erlich Vice President, Exploration and New Ventures

Mr. Erlich has been involved in the worldwide oil industry since 1986 and has 23 major geological publications. For most of the past eighteen years he has concentrated on South America (including Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Latin America and the Caribbean) and most recently was Manager, Exploration New Ventures, Latin America/Caribbean with one of the world's largest oil companies.

Bob Erlich holds a PhD in Palaeoceanography from Vrije University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He also secured a Masters of Science in geology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in geology from the University of Miami, Florida.

Jennifer Kennedy Corporate Secretary

Ms. Kennedy has been a Partner of Macleod Dixon LLP since 2000. Prior thereto, Ms. Kennedy was an associate with Macleod Dixon LLP. Ms. Kennedy has been practicing for over 15 years and specializes in the corporate and commercial area of law, specifically in securities law and mergers and acquisitions.

Ms. Kennedy received a Bachelor of Commerce degree in finance from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Laws degree with distinction from the University of Alberta. Ms. Kennedy is a member of the Law Society of Alberta.

Leandro Carbone Country Manager, Argentina

Mr. Carbone is a reservoir engineering by training with extensive South American and international experience in various aspects of the industry. He manages local operations from Petrolifera’s offices in Argentina.
